Gandhi and his Experiments with Desires.

Joseph LelyVeld:-The great soul:Mahatma Gandhi and hist struggle with India

Emotions has no gender boundaries. I am writing this after reading a Journal in a Malayalam weekly named ” mathrubhoomi weekly”. There was a cover story about this book and the author of this journal , he explains why Gandhi should be naked on the lights of his desires and how it makes him Greater Soul. This author depicts some excerpts from the Life of M.K Gandhi and trying to portray some points of the desires Gandhi had in his life.

He is traveling through relationships of M.K.Gandhi with Hermer Kallenbach,Shaik Mehtab,Madeline Slide(meera),Sarala Devi Chaurani,Susheela Devi, Arabha, Manu.

Kallenbach and Gandhi.
Cullen Back and Gandhi met when they both were 25 and 27 respectively. They both had a common interest, Buddhist ideas. Their relationship grew up eventually. Kallenbach bought 1100acre and created Tolstoy Farm together. Gandhi called Kallenbach as Hanuman and Kallenbach called Gandhi as Raman in their private conversations.
On the “love letters” they sent each other , they addressed each other as Lower House and Upper House. Love of Gandhi influenced in Hermen Kallenbach in a deep level. Kallenbach went with Gandhi to Jail, left his car, thrown his Binoculars on sea.
In 1915, at London, they both took depart, Kallenbach went to Germany and Gandhi to India. Experiments of Kallenbach were limited with in Gandhi. Kallenbach was co-traveler for Gandhi to do the experiments. Gandhi continued his Journey after the departure of Kallenbach because Gandhi already foreseen his Great goal. Gandhi never stops with one Cullen Back only. Gandhi influenced on Kallenbach more than any thing in his life. Maybe they had homosexual settlements on some of the abstract moments of their intimacy,it cannot be a mere sexual relation but a joining of two intimate souls. Gandhi traveled beyond that point after some time. He won in his desires and that makes him Great.
Unfortunately Kallenbach could not reach with Gandhi’s views,he went back to his life with full of desires, whatever things Gandhi filtered him from, he went back and died on 25-03-1945.

Shaik Mehtab
He was 3 years Senior of Gandhi in the school. The super star athlete in Kathiyawar school. Gandhi who was a physically weak and inferior personality, automatically attracted Mehtab. Mohan trusted Mehtab more than anything. After Mohans’s marriage , Mehtab controlled Mohan, how to behave in bedroom, how to tame the wife etc etc. Mohan invited Mehtab to SouthAfrica/Durban. This intimate relationship came to an end with a terrific incident. Mohan happened to be a witness of relationship between Mehtab and one lady. Mohan went as epilepsy, thrown Mehtab out of the house. Gandhi wrote that more than 10 years , he was on the finger tips of Mehtab. Mehtab was more than an invasion, an incubus to Gandhi.
All other relationship that Gandhi went after with Mehtab, Gandhi made the influence, none of them, Gandhi never let them to influence himself.

Sarala Devi Chaudhari.

Gandhi came to Punjab according with Jallianwala Bagh committee. He stayed with Rambuj Chaowdhari and his Wife SaralaDevi. She was 47 years old. Gandhi have seen her before, before 19 years, Calcutta Congress meeting. She was daughter of Sister of Rabindra Natha Tagore. Gandhi and she went for so many seminars and meetings together . They both get attracted with their soul power, intelligence , energy and love to the country. Gandhi made to publish her poems on the front page of Young India and Navajeevan.
C.R Das wrote Gandhi,” please set back. Realize the virtual reality you are in “. Gandhi’s son Devdas,Madhuradas, C.Raja Gopalachari. all of them tried to convince Gandhi and finally Gandhi made the move back.. Gandhi wrote her about his move back ” My love to yours , I interpreted it. Thus I came into the definition of spiritual matrimony. It is the sharing of love with out sexual/physical involvement.”

But SaralaDevi couldnt understand Gandhi. She wrote back ” Your Ahimsa ends in Hatred,When people like you live in this earth, there will not be flowers, no rain bows, no rivers” etc etc”.

There again Gandhi won on his desire. He took the experiments with courage, never run away from them, and he conquered them.

Morality police, they dont understand the dark ages/tough situations Gandhi went through with his desires. They just need to symbolize Gandhi as a GOD, a super-Human. To understand Gandhi completely, not only his political experiments, but also his emotional experiment should be criticized. Finally, thats how Gandhi became a great Soul.
